I started my career over a decade ago as a runner at Assault & Battery studios in London with zero technical background, just a love of music and a bit of luck! I trained there under producers/mixers Flood and Alan Moulder and that's essentially where it all began.

Once I'd just about got my head around the job, I moved to Hoxa HQ (a beautiful studio in West Hampstead run by songwriter/producer Jimmy Hogarth) to become the in-house engineer. I spent the next four or so years recording anything & everything that came through the door at Hoxa, as well as doing a lot of work with the late, great Steve Mackey who was also based there at the time. Steve took me away from traditional studio recording & into the worlds of location recording, live broadcasting & short films for fashion. I worked with Steve on Call This Number, the guerrilla TV broadcast project he created alongside filmmaker Douglas Hart & Jeanette Lee of Rough Trade Records.

In 2019, thanks to a Baxter Dury record, I met producer/mixer Craig Silvey and soon after became his full-time engineer & mix assistant. Craig taught me almost everything I know about mixing (and a lot about recording too) & my life was changed forever!

Although I am no longer Craig's assistant, we continue to collaborate as a producer/engineer team and we also co-mix many of the projects we work on together (Opus Kink, mary in the junkyard, Wunderhorse, Martial Arts).

I now have my own mix room in West London so that is where I am most of the time, but over the years I've had the pleasure of working in some amazing studios all over the world & I would love that to continue, so please do not be afraid to get in touch even if we're based on opposite sides of the Earth.
